Rebecca Belmore, an Anishnaabe Indigenous Canadian artist has contributed her sculpture of a ‘tent’ placed within sight of the Acropolis, for Documenta 14. This marble shelter is a provocative reminder of the situation of refugees and migrants as well as an echo of Indigenous wiigiwaams (as it is written in Anishinaabemowin) and the use of hides and poles in lodges.
